Noelanders Trophy - Demo Werner Busch

Werner Busch is one of the most known German bonsai artist with many years of experience, he is a veteran of the German bonsai scene and wrote a couple of books about bonsai. Werner Busch made two demo's at this years Noelanders Trophy with stunning results. At the first day he was styling a yamadori Pine which was quite challenging with not many options for styling.

On the second day Werner Busch and his assistant Viet Luan Tran (German New Talent of the year 2011) made a great demo on a nice Pinus Sylvestris. Unfortunately I had to leave before the demo was finished so I was without photos of the end result. Luckily Viet Luan was so kind and shared some great photos with me which are published below in this post. All photos ware made by his brother Viet Tam Tran and they are so good that there is no need to add my or spend any additional words on the second demo. Maybe two last words. Great and Thanks.

Noelanders Trophy - Demo Enrico Savini

Enrico Savini and his Progetto Futuro team made two stunning demo's at this years Noelanders Trophy. They introduced a fresh "no room for Ego" concept which is based on team work of different students of the  Progetto Futuro School. Based on this concept Enrico Savini, Andrea Melloni, Mauro Fregara and Tommaso Triossi styled two nice Pines.

Noelanders Trophy Demo by Robert Steven

Robert Steven is one of the bonsai masters who doesn't need a special introduction. We all know his great books like Vision of My Soul and Mission of Transformation, not to mention all his great masterpieces.

At this years Noelanders Trophy he made two demonstrations on two Mugo Pines. I can imagine that the demos ware extremely challenging for him, bcs.  Pines are not native species for his environment and as he mentioned it was the first time that he worked on Mugo Pines. But nevertheless he made a great demo and provided lots of great informations about design principles.

It was a pleasure to listen to him and watch him and his assistant Ofer Grunwald working on the trees. Two associations pup in my head in connection with Robert Steven. Passion and dynamic. He and his creations are both passionate and dynamic.
