This spring my “Splitted spruce” received its first Bonsai Pot and a small makeover. While transplanting the Tree a quite good "nebari" was discovered that triggered an internal debate... to highlight the movement of the trunk, or build a tree on the basis of a good nebari. I decided in the favour of the nebari and restyled the spruce a little bit.
The idea is to replace the lack of movement with a more dynamic foliage ... maybe even add some movement in the upper part of the trunk in the next step.
Anyway.... I think the spruce did a good step forward in this two years.

Hi, it is nice tree. Definitely very good on first yamadori. I would personally make lower right part shorter (may be this way tree would look more naturalistic) but it could be different if seen in person.
